KBA Accountants started in Maroochydore in November 1998. Greg Kamp, the Founder of KBA Accountants, had the vision to start a boutique firm, different from the big firms, that treated their clients as numbers and created production lines to move work in and out with as little client contact as possible.

So just before his 30th birthday in November 1998, Greg purchased Coleman & Associates from Kenneth Coleman and set out to create his dream. In 2004, a young Mark Weeber jumped off the plane from NZ and walked straight into Greg’s office where he found the job he would have for the next 20+ years. Macey Smith joined the team in 2009 as an Undergraduate Accountant and has now become a Senior Accountant and dedicated mentor. The firm has continued to grow over the years to be a team of very committed and focused professionals striving to go a little bit further for their clients.

In 2023, Mark and Macey joined Greg as Partners in the Practice and they continue to provide exceptional services to their clients, guiding them through the often confusing and complex tax landscape.
